Viva Farms

Viva Farms is an incubator farm with a combined 78 acres in the Skagit Valley starting in 2009. They provide education, land, and resources for new and young farmers including a partnership with Washington State University. Farmers are able to rent a plot of land as well as tools and machines by the hour, which makes beginning your farm program much more affordable. Viva Farms provides training and aid in farming techniques, certification process, good packaging and handling practices, post-harvest, marketing, and sales.
Eventually, farmers can continue working with Viva and sell under the Viva label or “graduate” and begin their own farm.
