Transportation/Distribution

  • Drivers and Services Our drivers have an average of 8 years of experience at Pacific Coast Fruit Company and many have worked selecting orders prior to becoming drivers.Your driver will arrive at the agreed upon time, at the agreed upon receiving door and will not leave your location until completely checked in by one of your authorized personnel.If you desire, your driver will temperature check your order at the dock, recording it on the manifest and can place the product in your cooler.Your driver can dark drop your order before you arrive and rotate your produce inventory on request.
  • Fleet Systems
    • Our fleet is owned by Pacific Coast Fruit Company which enhances our dependability and security that leasing equipment cannot provide. With over 50 vehicles including tractor/trailers, straight trucks, bobtails and vans we have the right sized vehicle to handle any job.The entire fleet is refrigerated to provide maximum shelf life by extending the cold chain from our warehouse to your location.
    • We can remotely monitor and record delivery vehicle temperatures throughout the delivery process and GPS track the fleet to ensure that your order arrives within your delivery time window.
    • Computer aided dynamic routing software decreases overall miles by tracking idle time and miles per gallon which reduces our green house gas emissions.
